Using case studies and models of shared decision making, this interactive session will highlight the need and benefits of communicating the medicines related risk to patients. The session will highlight how communicating risk to patients contributes to the WHO Global Patient Safety Challenge: Medication Without Harm across all four domains i.e. patients and the public, health care professionals, medicines and systems, and practices of medication. | ||||
