This talk will assess the impact of cardiovascular disease, discussing who to target and when. It will discuss various cardiovascular risk assessment tools and how to manage those at risk. Management will focus on key areas for CVD prevention; Atrial fibrillation, blood pressure and cholesterol, including non-pharmacological interventions. We will also discuss the controversial role of aspirin in primary prevention of CVD and review the evidence. Foundation Level. | ||||
