Unlike other forms of cardiovascular disease heart failure is not a disease at all. In fact, heart failure is a clinical syndrome and is in most cases the long-term consequence of other co-morbidities and risk factors. This ultimately makes diagnosis and management difficult. Joanne Bateman and Paul Forsyth will present a few advanced cases from their own recent clinical cases loads. These cases will include the use of some of the newer heart failure therapies in practice and areas of diagnostic and management uncertainty. | ||||
