Margaret Stone
Senior Lecturer, Non-medical Prescribing and Pharmacist Integrated Urgent Care, University of Derby
Margaret Stone is a pharmacist with 10 years experience as a senior academic pharmacist, leading postgraduate clinical pharmacy and prescribing courses, preceded by 10 years working in hospital pharmacy in care of the elderly, stroke and medicines management. She now works at the University of Derby, teaching and assessing pharmacists on an NHS Integrated Urgent Care course and pharmacists and nurses studying to be independent prescribers. Margaret specifically teaches reflection, critical appraisal, leading change and quality improvement tools. In her spare time she enjoys singing, running, hiking and baking.
