Kevin Gibbs
Clinical Pharmacy Manager, University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust
Kevin Gibbs has worked in the NHS for over thirty years in several different Trusts. He is currently the Clinical Pharmacy Manager for University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. Kevin manages a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians providing clinical and medicines optimisation services. His main interests are medication safety, quality improvement and the quality management of clinical pharmacy services. Nationally he is a committee member of the UKCPA Medicines Safety Group. He is a founder member of University Hospitals Bristol’s Quality Improvement Faculty and regularly teaches on the Trust Quality Improvement (QI) programme for staff. He is also a member of the Q Foundation and a QI coach and was part of the expert advisory group for the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s quality systems resource (see http://www.pharmacyqs.com/).
