Graham Brack

Head of Communications and Integration

Graham is PM’s Head of Communications and Integration. After his pre-registration year he worked in a District General Hospital as a drug information and ward pharmacist. He joined the pharmaceutical industry and worked for Allen & Hanburys Ltd in a range of roles before resigning in 1985 to become a community pharmacist in partnership with his wife. When their children were grown his wife assumed the leading clinical role and Graham developed a portfolio career including being a pharmaceutical adviser in Primary Care Trusts and Clinical Commissioning Groups. He was employed by the Department of Health to work on their response to the Shipman Inquiry due to his expertise in Controlled Drugs, and subsequently advised CQC on the subject. For some years he was a member of the Department of Health’s Commercial Medicines Unit’s National Homecare Medicines Committee. He has completed a number of inquiries for NHS bodies into service and performance issues and holds a Master’s degree in medical law and ethics. He was non-medical prescribing lead for his Trusts and has lectured on non-medical prescribing courses, in addition to being an independent prescriber himself.
