PM Healthcare National Medicines Value Forum – a day of shared insight, experience and discussion

John Chater, February 2026

The PM Healthcare National Medicines Value Forum 2026, held at the RCGP in London, welcomed around 150 senior prescribers and healthcare professionals for a focused and timely discussion on medicines value and optimisation.

Against the backdrop of an NHS that continues to evolve and reform while managing competing demands within an increasingly complex healthcare landscape, the Forum provided a valuable opportunity to explore practical solutions and shared priorities.

Throughout the day, expert speakers delivered insightful presentations and led lively debate on the key issues facing the professions, including:

  • What should the role of “medicines value” pharmacists look like in the new NHS structures?
  • Understanding How The Finances Work For Medicines Optimisation In The New Structures
  • The Medicines Optimisation Blueprint for ICBs
  • Belonging, Presence and Value: What Does It Look Like When We Own Our Expertise?
  • Beyond Boundaries: Leveraging external resources to unlock capacity through strategic partnerships
  • The Future for Medicines Commissioning
  • Building your resilience through an evolving NHS

PM Healthcare would like to thank our sponsors, delegates and speakers for making the day thoroughly enjoyable and informative.
